Life is exactly that!

Life may be a wonderful adventure filled with joy, love, and happiness. However, it can also be full of challenges, despair, and struggles causing us to become anxious, terrified, and suffering. But what if we shifted our focus to what makes us optimistic, to whatever helps us overthink less, or to what makes us a person who gives hope to others rather than expecting to receive it?

Our instinct is to concentrate on life's undesirable, frightening, and perplexing parts.  But let us never forget that about two thousand years ago, Apostle Paul gave this beautiful reminder to the Philippians, "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things" (Philippians 4:18 NIV).

Looking at the positive aspects of life encourages us to be grateful and hopeful.

Two persons may go through identical pains and sufferings; one may damage oneself to bitterness, while the other transitions to betterness.

We were never given an easy life!  Nature allows us to become both predators and prey.  The sun may be harsh today but could be gentle tomorrow. One person could be in a feast while another is in excruciating pain, and the next day they switch places.

Life is exactly that! So focus on what will give us the most fun, allow us to love the most, and make us live the most!
